Machines, equipment, facilities and tools require step-by-step procedure to operate. Cooking menus, sewing clothes, assembling or dismantling a structure, constructing or repair and the completion of a task involve detailed steps that must be displayed in their proper order. Your next lesson may be one of these
things and your teacher assigns you to show the class how one such equipment, tol item is operated or assembld. Or how a certain tasks or activity is performed. Your updated encyclopedia will be of definite help. Your teacher will tell you how to secure the material if it is not a common house items. You have to give a little background of the item before proceeding to its contents and procedure of operation. If what you are assigned or volunteered to demonstrate is something ew to everyone, you may have to go the producer or distributor who will be glad to give you all the information materials you need to promote their products, including a sample itself.

What makes students fearful is not always a lack of knowledge or poor preparation, but the fact that they do
not know what will be asked. High school loads vary. Even more in college. And so passing the subjects alone is a challenge. Competing for top honor is certainly even more difficult. But you have been following a sure path to excelling in class and periodical exams should not be a time of fear but of triumph. Your skills are about to be supremely tested and then rewarded.
Remind yourself that your chief motivation is to rise and settle nowhere else but on top of the class. This means beating and defeating the current champion. Come to think of it, your primary focus in this review and in the exams is really your competitor you want to be several stepts ahead of his or her and nothing seems to assure you.

The periodic and semestral exams in high school and colleges are the most comprehensive, most decisive and, therefore, themost feared. They are the most comprehensive because they cover an entire year in high school. In most colleges, these are the preliminary, mid term, and final exams. Because they cover entire periods, they decide the standing of a student in that protracted term. And because they are decisive, they are conclusive.

A periodic exam covers all the notes you take during that time, probably one-third or one-half of your entire notepad, depending on the amount of information given. Teachers tell their classes what to review, and most of them hint at what will be asked. Observe your teacher’s hints and the kind of questions she is likely to ask. Add these to her style of testing and you are practically sure that you will more than just pass.

Every teacher has a particular method of teaching and a particular style of testing. If you have been under a particular teacher more than once, you already know her expectations and preferences. It will be easier for you to study and review. You can even expect the way she will ask questions in a test or exam and then review accordingly.
Of course, what matters is the subject, and you need not really pay attention to the personal taste and inclination of a teacher. But it is still she, as earlier mentioned, who gives you the grade and it wil be a long, futile and embarassing process to question it formally. It is much quicker, more practical and less complicated to give in to her personal preferences, as long as they are nto reasonable.
Some teachers are particularly with cleanliness and orderliness of test papers. They react strongly to erasures, un-aligned numbers, creases, spots, and illegible penmanship. These may be irritating personality quirks but you are after getting good grades, not winning an arguments with your teacher that she ought to give these quirks up. Giving in a little to her and only for a semester will redound more to your benefit than to her.
To be on the safe, observe the general rule of submitting a well done test or quiz, free of erasures, creases, unsightly spots and clearly written.
