Time to review for the semestral exam
May 5, 2009 10:03 am educationThe periodic and semestral exams in high school and colleges are the most comprehensive, most decisive and, therefore, themost feared. They are the most comprehensive because they cover an entire year in high school. In most colleges, these are the preliminary, mid term, and final exams. Because they cover entire periods, they decide the standing of a student in that protracted term. And because they are decisive, they are conclusive.

A periodic exam covers all the notes you take during that time, probably one-third or one-half of your entire notepad, depending on the amount of information given. Teachers tell their classes what to review, and most of them hint at what will be asked. Observe your teacher’s hints and the kind of questions she is likely to ask. Add these to her style of testing and you are practically sure that you will more than just pass.
